Qari Habib-ur-Rahman Zubairi

Qari Habib-ur-Rahman Zubairi is Law graduate is presently Senior Vice President Pakistan Tax Bar Association, President International Lawyers Association and Former President of Lahore Tax Bar Association. At University Law College, in addition to his LL.B (Literally Legum Baccalaureus), he completed his Master Degree and also trained in developing public policy and legal frameworks on commerce and taxation. He is also delivering lectures on Taxation in Quaid-e-Azam Law Colleges since a long. He has rich exposure of working with different companies in Pakistan and abroad including Denmark, Canada and USA based tax law publishing company. He has advised numerous international and national clients on taxation, financial and corporate matters and has represented in mediation or litigation of controversies. He has advised federal and sub-national governments in Pakistan of various development policy and institutional development issues in addition to working as a business and taxation lawyer representing multinational corporations and prestigious Pakistani companies. His areas of interest in practice, writing, and teaching include public policy research and advisory, fiscal laws, international taxation, contracts, and corporate matters.

Qari Zuhaib-ur-Rahman Zubairi is a Law School graduate is presently Convener Standing Committee Tax & SECP of Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Chairperson Information Technology of Lahore Tax Bar Association and Lahore High Court Bar Association. At Law School, in addition to his Master of Laws (LL.M), he completed a certificate program in Cyber Crime Laws & taxation and also trained in developing public policy and taxation. He has also done his commerce degree from University of the Punjab. He has rich exposure of working with different companies in Pakistan and abroad and has also advised numerous international and national clients on taxation, financial and corporate matters and has represented in mediation or litigation of controversies. He is also a professionally trained mediator accredited internationally by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution, UK. He is part of an IFC-supported small core group of mediators to pilot modern commercial mediations in Pakistan. His areas of interest in practice, teaching include public policy research and advisory, fiscal laws, international taxation, contracts, and corporate matters.
